About Us
Domestic Supplies has built up an impressive legacy over the years with a rich history and solid foundation. Since our days as a family partnership on local markets in Mansfield, Bakewell, Newark and surrounding areas, plus more recently as Domestic Supplies since 1981 based in Mansfield Woodhouse, a wealth of knowledge has been accumulated over 55 years with selling and advising on spares for laundry, refrigeration, cooking, vacuum cleaners and much more. The founder, Don Wardman, trained with Hoover by demonstrating their vacuum cleaners and since then the company has evolved immensely into selling spares and new appliances. In 1998 we moved into a larger unit on the same industrial estate as the and then a further move in 2006 to a 4000sq ft unit.
Our company provides a comprehensive, customer-centric services that are tailored to meet a range of needs, from repairs to installations and everything in between. We have expanded our portfolio over the years, not just in terms of the appliances we sell but also the services we offer, like warranty repairs and installations We have adapted to the changing landscape over the years, especially with the rise of online shopping and direct-to-consumer sales incorporating the mix of traditional service and modern convenient to stay competitive in such a fast-evolving industry.
As for the appliances, we stock a wide selection of freestanding and integrated appliances including cooking, laundry, refrigeration, dishwashers, extraction, taps, sinks and small appliances. Our brand portfolio is very wide including Hotpoint, Indesit, Hoover, Bosch, Neff, Caple, Statesman, Smeg. Belling, Sebo, Numatic, Zanussi to name a few and more recently we have added Midea to our appliance range. Our showroom displays the majority of these which enables our sales team to show or customers the features of each appliance in order for them to make the correct decision for their needs. Customers can either collect from store immediately from current stock or have the item delivered. We also provide an installation and disposal service for freestanding, integrated and gas appliances so the customer can have the full package for their convenience. Free parking is directly outside our store which enables access easy for customers and collections.

Founded in 1981, Domestic Supplies is Mansfield’s largest independent supplier of appliance spare parts and quality kitchen appliances. The business began trading in the 1970s on local market stalls before growing into the trusted retailer it is today.
With over 55 years as a family-run company, we combine experience, expertise and genuine customer care. What began as a small family partnership has evolved into a 4,000 sq. ft warehouse and showroom in Mansfield Woodhouse.
Since expanding into larger premises in 1998 and again in 2006, we have continued to grow while staying true to our founding values: honesty, reliability and service. Our exceptionally low staff turnover means you’ll always deal with knowledgeable, experienced people who genuinely care.
